Re: Bedding shops
They have some nice beds / bedding in Steptoes up the Polis road.
We have bought a couple of beds from there & never been disappointed. I don't know if they have a sale on @ the moment.

Re: Bedding shops
Not quite what you are looking for but I order bed linens from White Company & House of Fraser online, delivery with White is free on orders over £50 and I believe £6 with HoF. Superb quality, especially Egyptian cotton linens and vey good prices in the sale, which is on now.

Just be aware of this story in the papers today..

Re: Bedding shops
I go to Sklavenitis (formerly Carrefour) on Ellados Avenue for bed linen, pillows, duvets etc. Most recently bought a super king size winter duvet for just over €20.
Re: Bedding shops
Is high quality Egyptian cotton readily available in Paphos at a reasonable price? I'm talking posh sheets.
Re: Bedding shops
You don't say what you are looking for. Beds or bedding. John Lewis Egyptian cotton sheets are very soft, good quality and reasonable price. Bed Time have a good selection of Bed and mattresses on Mesogi road.
Re: Bedding shops
Just sheets etc and a mattress cover, do you need to order John Lewis on line or is their a place that sells them in Paphos?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Bedding shops
Debenhams do Bedding, usually a sale at this time of a year too, worth a shot.

I started off with nothing and have most of it left !
Re: Bedding shops
Thanks, but Debenhams are too expensive.
May go to Steptoes etc later on this week.

Re: Bedding shops
For quality I would go to John Lewis every time. I'm still using fitted sheets that a friend brought over for me 12 years ago. Can't tell you how many times they've been washed but definitely true to say hundreds of times.
Re: Bedding shops
I can get John Lewis sheets in the UK. I was wondering, with Cyprus's closeness to Egypt, whether they had any local sellers of nice Egyptian sheets?
Re: Bedding shops
I saw some bargains in Debenhams today. The sales are on and they have a lot at 50% reduction. If you wait a bit this will increase to 70%. They are well worth it at those prices.

Re: Bedding shops
Just a thought, but isn't Steptoes all second hand house clearance stuff?

Re: Bedding shops
You’re thinking of the old Steptoes I think. They’ve now moved to the Polis road & gone upmarket. The name has changed as well but I can’t remember what it is.I used to like going in the old shop for books & they were about the only “removers” when we first came over. I remember using them to move some things from our holiday apartment to our new home - quite embarrassing having a truck with Steptoes written down the side!
Re: Bedding shops
Thanks all for the feedback.
We looked for UK bedding but it is no longer there, ended up going to Steptoes, no sales though, so we bought just the minimum of what we needed for now.
My wife is going back to the UK in march, she always visits John Lewis so will get the rest of what we need from there.

Re: Bedding shops
Dunelm Mills in UK might be worth looking at, too. They have regular sales, so you might get lucky!

ps: I just checked the link and there's an up to 50% off sale on bedding right now. Problem is, they don't do international delivery... Maybe friends or family in UK could help you grab some online bargains for UK delivery in advance of your wife going over in March, so she can bring them back?
