Late Summer garden pics 18.11.17
As it looks to me that the Summer 2017 is finally finished I took some photos in my garden yesterday....
Typical Autumn flowers, view towards Troodos
Wasps and bees are busy around
simple flowers can be also pretty
busy bee
these ones can be a problem as they take over sometimes, but the flowers are pretty and the berries the birds like..
and of course the bees like them too
even herbs can look interesting
flowers look like little orchids
birds of paradise in full bloom now giving a colour festival
and finally my newest member of the family, my mini elephant, even Lucky is jealous...

Lovely, Max. I especially like the juxtaposition of the orange Bird of Paradise flowers against the blue flowers behind (is it plumbago?)

No, it is not plumbago, it is the purple potato plant....and grows like mad, more than 2m in one season., needs cutting down 3 times a year.PW in Polemi wrote: ↑Sun Nov 19, 2017 10:52 am Lovely, Max. Beautiful pictures from your Garden of Paradise, Max! They are really heart lifting to view, especially with the bees still active so late in the year!
Thankyou so much for sharing your Mother Nature's glories with us.
