I was playing with my 35mm lens. Not one I usually work with but as I needed to dig my camera rucksack out after packing it away when we opened the shipping container, it gave me the opportunity to try it.
Ruby was back from her afternoon walk and patiently awaiting her dinner so I caught her unawares.
Now I've got to work out how to spread my camera and lenses (may have to rely on just one) as I am only allowed one small carry on bag on our forthcoming flight to Jersey. So much to see and so little time to do it in... But I reckon we will go back another time. It looks like a lovely place...
Our Ruby is usually on Friday - but today is the new Friday for us, as tomorrow - it's the start of the holidays!
Tonight is G&T with ice and a slice and a really hot Chicken Jalfrezi.... we've already finished off the Cobra beer :-/
The dog Ruby is off to kennels tomorrow.... am somewhat worried about this as it's her first time without our other dog who we lost in October and a new kennels too, with strangers. She was used to the one we used when we were in Cyprus.
Good job it's only for a few days until we get the lie of the land.
Our favourite - hubby makes his own... He's a dab hand at it now after years of practice in Cyprus. Couldn't get a great Western style "Indian" in Cyprus and the places that were passable ended up closing down.
Only The Curry House on Bar Street in Paphos was worth the drive and an overnight stay but that was only a few months before we came to the end of our 12 year stay in Limassol.

Yes but we'd always "Go for a ruby". We'd never "Go for a Ruby Murray".
Yep, we'd go for a 'Ruby' every Friday night (I'm a Londoner). I do miss the really good Indian Restaurants in and around London, there really isn't one I have found in Cyprus that compares and I've tried them all in Pafos, and a few in Limassol/Nicosia!
