Cypriot Cold Remedies

Does anybody know of any? Got a belter of one I am trying to shift and miss the placebo effect of all the crap you can get from UK chemists.

My Cypriot friends swear by, rubbing Zivania over your chest and back when not feeling well, tried this a couple of times when I had the flu, wife rubbed it on my back and chest, I had a couple of shots of it too, Went to bed sweated like a Pig, but I kid you not, it did the trick, they also rub it into their joints when they have pain, try it nothing to lose

I use Snips, excellent remedy but doesn't work for everyone.

Use Asprin plus C - not the usual Aspirin, unfortunately not many pharmacies sell it, get it from Pissouri,

You ask for Cypriot Cold remedy: Traditional is: Sage tea from local sage leaves, 5-8 min.leave to draw, add 2-3 spoon of good honey ...
