The Day The Clock Stopped
I have just been looking back, And to see how far Paphos Life has come in 9 Months is a Remarkable Achievement.

Agreed 100%! But if you browse over the old CL Links in that linked archive, you'll find that JimX still to this day gives Jacs and me full creds for creating these html pages in distant locations to a common source. Thanks for that, Jim. It certainly taught Jacs and me a thing or so at the time as well...71 Trans Am wrote: ↑Fri Sep 08, 2017 11:04 pm I have just been looking back, And to see how far Paphos Life has come in 9 Months is a Remarkable Achievement.

Thinking back to pre-Christmas 2016, the CL Links were a bit like Dom's PL directory this year, except Dom has organized it better, fair play!
Cheers (he must not overpost)- AL

Gone but not forgotten...
Re: The Day The Clock Stopped
Dom's a pro, I was not Alan, but thanks all the same, without CL there would probably be no other local forums most of PL members are indeed ex-CL, but no worse for that many were great members who gave a lot of time to help fellow members.
Dominic is indeed doing a fantastic job, far better than I could ever have done.
Happy though to have moved on..

And remember, if Jim hadn't let me post on CL about this forum it probably wouldn't have even existed. Originally, there wasn't going to be a PL forum, as the forum market was already saturated with CL and PP. I didn't think there would have been any mileage in introducing another.
But let's look to the future, rather than the past.

Dominic - Just out of interest - how long will the Cyprus Living Site be archived ? Is this a forever thing or will the plug be pulled at some point ?
Re: The Day The Clock Stopped
You are asking the wrong person. It has nothing to do with me. Ask Jim (Allesley).

It has nothing to do with me either, it is a left over from the old website, I guess it will eventually just shut down, you cannot post on it or edit it in anyway, it is useful to take off photos and text for those who wish to, we have no control over the archive pages.
Jim.
Re: The Day The Clock Stopped
I assumed it was yours, Jim. My mistake.
I did a whois, and it was registered on 3rd Jan 2017 by somebody called Scott Demaret.
Does that name ring any bells to anybody?

No Dominic never heard of that name, it may be a pseudonym of course.

Well anyway, 71 Trans Am, that's who you have to ask; Scott Demaret.
