Photos from June 2012 where we spent the late morning and early afternoon walking around the old streets and Samanbahce Housing area:

Samanbahce Housing Area was partially built by 1894 and at the time being used as social housing. It was constructed over several phases and finally finished in 1955 with further restoration taking place in 2003 and 2004. At last count, it housed approximately 153 low income residents:
