Here in Mosfiloti, we have for today:
Partly to mostly cloudy in the morning, becoming mostly sunny in the afternoon. A chance of rain. Scattered thundershowers possible. High 33°C. Heat index up to 35°C. UV index up to 10. Wind south around 2 m/s, gusting to 7 m/s, in the morning, becoming 4 m/s, gusting to 9 m/s, in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation 30 percent. Precipitation mostly less than 2 mm.
What does this mean? We have a 30% chance of rain or, more likely, a 70% chance it won't rain. Unlikely, but if it should happen to rain, it will probably be a piddling 5 drops, which are <2 mm. OTOH, this area may get, say, 20 mm which would water the garden nicely, but, if this happens, then there will be no rain at all for those in a massive area downwind from us. There is only a given amount of water in the clouds and if it empties in one place, it won't rain elsewhere.

Hopefully ;)
That's the dream, isn't it? You've made the effort but then have to stop through no fault of your own. You then have an afternoon of guilt free TV watching ahead.

I actually got rained off gardening, and now I am cleaning ceiling fans inside... But of course it has stopped raining now, but no I am not going out again ha ha..

I love that Polemi has so many different microclimates. We've had no rain in our little corner of Polemi.

Throwing it down here in Paramali , thank goodness I forgot to top the pool up last night. Watching a yacht out at sea . Bet when they left Limassol for their summer's day cruise they had no idea they would be in the middle of a storm.
Oh well an excuse for me to watch the cricket I guess.

What remarkable people the Brits are.

A hint of rain keeps them chatting for days on end!

Also the Cypriots were talking about that, just not via internet. It is remarkable for August!

Still no rain in our little corner of Polemi. Quite muggy and cloudy though.
