Travel Insurance
Morning all!
Just wondering if anyone had any recommendations for travel insurance from a holiday destination.
I am here on holiday and want to travel to the U.K., but most insurers want you to be traveling from your country of residence.
I need a tailored package and can't find anything.
Thank you!
Abi

Try Staysure for ex pats. We keep using them every year and they cover medical conditions if you need that..

Thanks Trev, these guys need you to be traveling from your country of residence. It's the problem I'm facing with most of the firms!trevnhil wrote: ↑Thu Jul 27, 2017 9:13 am Try Staysure for ex pats. We keep using them every year and they cover medical conditions if you need that..

Re: Travel Insurance
Most UK banks (e.g. Lloyds, Nationwide, TSB etc) give free travel insurance. Have you checked out what you may already have?
Re: Travel Insurance
Are you a UK resident? If so, and you're travelling back to the UK, why do you need travel insurance?
If you are not a UK resident, then your best bet would be to either obtain travel insurance online from a provider in your country of residence or from the airline you are travelling with. EasyJet, for example, can provide cover for the period of travel.

Re: Travel Insurance
The more I look at this, the more confused I am.
As the OP is already on holiday, presumably he/she already have travel insurance. So why doesn't that cover the trip to the UK. If you travel abroad, you can't always be travelling from your country of residence!
Or have I missed something here?

Yep I do have travel insurance to Cyprus, but need it for my onward journey to the U.K. From Bahrain, where I live, there wasn't an option for multiple destinations.DavidatLWH wrote: ↑Thu Jul 27, 2017 10:38 am The more I look at this, the more confused I am.

Re: Travel Insurance
Maybe you need an 'Annual Insurance Policy' instead of 'Single Trip'.marcusandabi wrote: ↑Thu Jul 27, 2017 11:19 am

An annual policy covers you for multiple destinations with a limit of 17 days in any one country being visited in any one trip. We have a worldwide annual insurance policy underwritten by Europesure which was taken out through 'TopQuotes Insurance' in Paphos. Give Sam (Samantha) a call on 26272824 or email to info@topquotes.com.cy
Re: Travel Insurance
We use Europsure online. You get a quote straight away but I think you have to be in the country of residence.
