Paphos Life

Post by STELIOSBWFC »

Hello
I used to post on CL and joined this forum the day after it went down.
I holiday in Paphos every year and do a few months at a time. At 48 in 5 years time I will be joining you. I would just like to thank Dominic for the site. It gives me a blast of life on my dinner hour and when I get time. Trev provided us with a house build and the Harbour work. But that was CL. The person that stands out for me on the new site is Max. What a nice fella trying to provide info and just his life. Paphos Al read many of the post you have done over the years. Al do not know you but feel I do. Really sorry for your loss must be hard. God bless you all. xx

Stelios,

I am a bit embarrassed now, but on the other hand it is motivating to continue the way I am doing it. Sometimes I think that I post too often and I don't want to dominate the forum by no means. But I am never in the politics section, so this is perhaps balancing it out. As I am very much into renewable energies I would really like to get sometimes more respond and answers on this subject. To use the power of the Sun is one of the most important field of expertise specially in Cyprus which is one of the sunniest region in the world.
Thank's anyhow for your nice comment.

Hi Stelios, how is life in Bolton. Nice to see old names cropping up on this relatively new forum. Also our condolences to Paphos Al.

Life is Good. BWFC have no money but I still go home and away at times. I live in Salford and was born in Madchester and get asked why do I support Bolton. Well my Mum is a scouse and them lot give me stick as a kid so I thought "FU".

A real pity Bolton are going through difficult times. One of those clubs I have seen in both the top and bottom tiers of the league playing Liverpool, who are my team and Rochdale who became my adopted team. I remember one memorable night at Burnden Park, Peter Thompson's testimonial, just after Liverpool had won the European Cup and Bolton had gained promotion to the first division. We were in the paddock, standing near Bob Williamson and the banter between Bob and the scousers was hilarious.

Max is certainly a talented guy...one of his fantastic photographs features on the front cover of Grapevine magazine this month. Many Thanks once again Max and please keep them coming.
