I thought he was hoping to exploit divisions in the Tory party not his own!

How does this put Labour in turmoil?

If anything it strengthens the party by keeping it on track.

Surely, it primarily highlights the divisions in the Labour party ............. my way or the highway seems apt!

It would seem that the shadow cabinet was made up of his strongest people and several of them have gone so the ones in their place were not initially thought to be the best for the job? Additionally JC has done himself no favours by blaming the Government for Grenfell and many of the hard core Labour members are distancing themselves from this statement.

It looks as though weak and wobbly is appropriate for Labour now!
