And given that they knocked out Lincoln in the 1/4 finals, I think that means that Lincoln are now officially the 4th best team in the country.

And I used Science to work that out, so it must be true. :)

I am a Bayern (Munich) fan but I watch most of the important matches in Europe and this was one of them. To win a match you must have a good defence and with Mertesacker in this form it was excellent. I wonder if Alexis Sanchez does the move to Bayern Munich now as the Gunners won the trophy. It would be excellent if he could play together with Robert (Lewandowski) as Ribery and Robben getting old.... I look also forward to watch the final of the Champions League and hope Turin will win against Real Madrid. (also a matter of defending to stop Ronaldo..) By the way: my tip was 2:1 for Arsenal and I should have bet on it...

In every European top league it needs a lot to reach the final. How many times the underdogs won. And how long do you think their hung over lasts from celebrating being Champions (12.5.) Image

I watched the match to the end even when there was the German Cup at the same time, as it was so interesting to me...
The Gunners deserved to win, the highlights of this video are proving that and listen to the commentator. (Sanchez scored from a hand ball?)
And the referee was excellent sending one player off with the yellow/red card for diving...this should happen much more often.

Save your breath Max. Some people only seem to get pleasure out of football by slagging other teams off.

Not at all Dominic ..Credit where credits due, I applauded Leicester for winning the league last season, Arsenal won the cup by playing two non league sides, and scoring from a hand ball, for me not worthy of saying Bravo.

Tell that to Burnley, Ipswitch and Brighton.

I note that Man City, who Arsenal beat in the semis, beat West Ham 5:0 earlier on in the competition. Both Lincoln and Sutton progressed further than West Ham, who went bye bye earlier on in the competition.
