Bio metric card

Went to immigration last Thursday to register for our bio metric card, whole process took about 15 mins, result!! Asked when they would be ready and was told that we would get a letter saying they were there to collect. We don’t know anyone who has had a notification, just wondering if any forum members have been notified.

Yes, when we registered for Bio Metric Cards we got a letter when they were ready for collection. Can't remember how long we waited to receive the letter but it was a few weeks I think. The letter also stated that each applicant had to attend and sign for the card in person but there was guy in front of us collecting for his whole family!

You can send a text to them will try and find the info. I never received a letter. Mine took about 6 months I think.

f you send a text to number 1199 and in message type the word Status (space) then your application number eg 012345/2025 then you'll get a text back telling you if it's ready or if it's still being dealt with.

Yes we 1 got letter that came for my wife we applied at same time she got hers about 3 months, went to collect hers as i still had not received my letter, ask when we went to immigration about mine the lady just nodded went away we were about to go then she shouts sir and hands me mine.

Got mine within 3 months...however it took a year and endless phone calls to get the wife's...no idea why as we both applied the same day....
