We are meeting friends who are staying in the North and would like to meet up with them by going through the Ledra Street crossing. Am I correct in thinking that we only require our passports and biometric cards as ID? Would appreciate confirmation from someone who has recently been.

Just found out from another source that passports and biometric cards are fine. One resident took only a passport and had difficulty but was eventually allowed to cross.

I can confirm both documents are needed, having just done the crossing.

Thank you. I've just heard that someone only took their biometric card with them and was refused.

Do you need the biometric card too as you're British? I have an EU passport so would that be enough? I have a yellow slip but didn't need that when I crossed a few years ago, I'm now wondering if it's changed?
