This is a series of films where we show you how to navigate through Paphos. If you are visiting and hiring a car you will find it an invaluable guide to getting around. In the first part we give you a quick guide to the town before driving from Kings Avenue Mall to the Motorway Roundabout.
In the second part of our Driving in Paphos series we complete the loop started in Part 1. From the Motorway Roundabout we head west past the Hospital Roundabout to the B7. Then we head down towards Kennedy Square and finish back at Kings Avenue Mall. This series is designed to help visitors to Paphos navigate the area with confidence. If you are hiring a car on your holiday you should find it very useful.
In the third part of our Driving In Paphos series we drive through the centre of Paphos. Starting at the Motorway Roundabout, we head down what is known locally as Butcher Boy Road. Almost immediately we observe the aftermath of a run-in between a truck and a bulldozer, so you get to see how accidents are handled in Cyprus. Don't worry though, nobody was hurt. From there we head to Kennedy Square before turning left past the Town Hall, and finishing at the Stadium Roundabout.
The Hotel Strip and Kato Paphos, including Paphos Seafront and Harbour, are the main tourism hotspots in Paphos. Nobody has any difficulty navigating the Strip, but Kato Paphos can be a bit of a challenge, with its maze of one-way streets and cul-de-sacs. Once you have familiarised yourself with a couple of roads it becomes a lot easier to get about. In this film we start at Geroskipou Beach and drive down the Hotel Strip to the Triangle. We take a diversion there to show you the roundabout we passed in Part 1 of the Series, before heading in to the heart of Kato Paphos. We finish at the Lighthouse Beach, which is another site you should know about if you are visiting the area.
In the final part of our guide to driving in Paphos, we are going to show you around the Old Town and Moutallos. Starting from the Harbour, we drive up past Kings Avenue Mall to Old Paphos, and show you around its twisted roads and car parks. We also take in part of Moutallos, which is the residential area next to the bar / shopping area.
