Limni Pier to Aphrodite's Baths

There used to be a big mine near Polis, at Limni. The pier was used to ship ores to foreign parts. When the mine closed, the plan was to turn the area into a luxury golf resort. A condition of that was to convert the pier to a tourist attraction. Time passed, the resort was cancelled and the pier has now sadly run into disrepair. This is a crying shame and hopefully the situation will be rectified some time soon. In this film Alex and I start at the pier and drive towards Polis. We take a back route to the campsite, which is also waiting to be renovated, before emerging at Latchi. A quick drive along the coast brings us to Aphrodites Baths, and the neighbouring restaurant and hidden beach.

We love that part of the Island between Pomos & the Restaurant at Aphrodite's baths. Not too adventurous at my age so find this route ticks all the boxes
