BMW has announced a move away from electric vehicles, stating that it has successfully addressed the challenges of hydrogen engine technology. The company revealed significant progress in hydrogen fuel cell development, which it sees as a more sustainable alternative to conventional electric cars. Unlike electric vehicles that depend on large batteries, hydrogen engines use lightweight fuel cells, offering faster refuelling and greater range.
BMW also emphasised the environmental benefits, highlighting that hydrogen-powered vehicles emit only water vapour, making them a promising solution for the future of eco-friendly transportation.
You’ll find the article under Science & Engineering on Facebook. I hope the article is genuine, as strangely, Rolls-Royce just announced they are producing electric cars only. I've copied it to Ed Milliband Labours deluded Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change.

The technology may be great, however you'd need to build a hydrogen infrastructure. I don't see that happening.
