New Drop Off Area at Paphos Airport

FYI. This just poppped into my FB feed. Text copied from there and is also on the Hermes webpage:

“ A new parking zone is now available at Pafos airport, for those who wish to have a short stop to drop off passengers. This newly created area, which is located next to the airport taxi parking lot, is clearly signed as ‘Drop Off Area’ and visitors can remain parked at the area for 5 minutes with no charge. Remaining in the drop off zone beyond the time allowed, a €10.00 fee will be incurred.”

It’s the area recently featured in a video Dominic posted recently and is accessed via the turning for the old airport terminal building.

Yes, it's the same area Dominic previously recommended for drop off/pick ups, but now without all the cars parked in it. I used it yesterday and sailed in and out, there were just a few cars in the whole section (though it was 7.30am). Other than the longer walk to the building, with all the space available it should be easier than the old drop off lane which could be busy.
