Furniture disposal

I'm leaving soon and need to dispose of a three-seater sofa by next week. Anyone know how I might do that without dumping it in the trees?

Usually the answer is to leave it outside the gate, and someone will be glad to take it away for their own use.

If its in good/reasonable condition, phone 1 of the charity shops eg PAWS in Chlorakas
and they might collect it.
