MUKW Bio Metric application

Post by sueb »

Helllo All,

Please can anyone tell me the corect email address for booking an appointment to change a MEU1 dated 2008 to MUKW3 bio metric? Paphos district
please.

If it is an couple do you have to have 2 appointments?

How long before you get an reply from the email requesting an appointment?
How long are people waiting to get a apointment date?
Would also be interested to hear if people used an " agent/sorter". How long did it take? Who did you use.

In the past we have sorted all the required documents.
Have got all the forms and and instructions from the web site. Also got an email address just checking its the correct one.

Many Thanks
Sueb

Thanks for your reply Paul.
I thought that going through to the police was when you where upgrading your MUKW to a bio metric card? I might be wrong!
We are going from a " Yellow Slip" format to card.

We did the original yellow slip, MEU1 ourselves. However, this time we have gone through an agent, partly because documents required seem to be changing. We now need repatriation insurance, which we got through Atlantic. We're using Peter Savvas. Luckily our marriage certificate had been Apostilised when we got our MEU1, otherwise it would have been a trip back and a lengthy wait, as last time we had to wait weeks as our original documents were in a safe of a church that was rarely used.

Mark thanks for your reply. Which email address did you use? Are you going from the MEU1 orginal yellow slip to Biometric MUKW?

Thanks Mark struggling to get confirmation for the correct email address. My understanding is if you have a MEU3 and going for the biometric card issued format. It is done via the police department.

I am requiring an email address to make an appointment with imigration deptartment as we are on the MEU1 from 2008.

Thanks for your help.

Just to confirm for all immigration appointments you use the email address mailto:pafosetiseis@police.gov.cy. Response is usually within a week.

Hi Sue

Email sent last Friday, got reply today with appointment confirmed.

Now have to print out forms and take Passport and copy, MEU3 and copy,

If you hold an MEU1, you need 5 years copies of utility bills, income etc

It is all explained in Greek and English on the website, the form can be filled in by you in English

Immigration were not happy with my 10yrs of electric bills, they sent me to AIK to get an ‘official’ print-out……it’s a good walk!

Hi Ludlow Boy, have known that sort of thing happen before, Pafos Immigration can be awkward, A long time ago, when my husband &I were applying for a yellow slip, he had got the necessary bank statement which was required to support our application. However, it was rejected because he had got it the previous day as we had a very early appointment at Immigration. He was told to get another one with the current date. So, he had to run down the road on a hot day to the bank again while I sat in the officials office pending his return.
Otherwise we would have lost our place in the long queue..

Thinking of similar, just out of interest John, how long did it take to get an immigration appointment using Peter? Thank you.

Got an appointment today via email. Last week of August. Thought it might be around that time.
The email had a link for the documentation- does not open
Had already found the documents we will need and forms.

It does not say where the office is for the appointment?

Just to confirm this was the email I used. pafosetiseis@police.gov.cy

Thanks everyone for you input. Much appreciated!
