Cyta - so easy

Post by El tel »

I have just topped up my so easy phone through the Cyta website with 10 euros . Recent changes meant this would expire in six months but the confirmation I received showed it was valid until 2/03/2025 , have they changed their policy again . Thanks

How strange, I thought it used to be 6 months. I added 5 euros to my phone last week but only got 3 months added to the date

I had the same with my so easy,it was due to expire in March. On checking the actual date using 1882 it said it would expire in Dec 2024.
So called into the Cyta shop in Neon mall and the nice lady there told me the expired date for all value top ups was now 12 months.
It came into operation on Feb 29th.
Hope this is of help.

As if making a phone call ...
Dial *110# and then 'green phone/dial' and that gives you the available credit and expiry date.

Last time I checked it said "expiry 13/4" - now it says "expiry 13/10"

I topped up with €10 in mid-October last year

Thanks for the 'heads up' :-)

We topped up both of our phones with €5 because of the new, 6 month rule, but both are now showing expiry dates for 12 months. Thanks JB for the *110# and then 'green phone/dial.

I agree Terry. These days, literally every little does help.
I don't use even €10 on the phone in a year, so delighted at this news.

If you don't use/need your credit - you can gift it to another so-easy customer

Interesting. Perhaps they had a flood of people like us ditching them for other providers after they introduced this last year. My wife switched to a Primetel pay monthly account and is very happy with it as she makes far more use of the phone. My own PrimeTel contract is due for renewal in a couple of months and the package I’m on is now down to €5.99 a month which is a bargain.

Trev,I I think it was because I paid for a 6 mth term in Oct 23 due to expire in April 24, so I can't complain at only getting a 6 mth extension..............all helps
