Dog walkers behaving irresponsibly

Post by Woody2 »

Hi,
Could someone let me know if there is anybody to complain to about dog walkers passing our property & letting them defecate without cleaning up their mess afterwards?
Is the Mukta the first port of call or is there any other alternative (barring a shotgun), to curtail these anti-social ignoramuses?

Most of the culprits also let there animals off the leash, which I think contributes to the problem of lack of control by the owner.

I think there are laws in place with hefty fines, go ask at police or local council, I had a lady down the road to me , let her dog shit out side my drive most mornings, I shovelled it up and placed it on her door step, this put a stop to it.

Thanks WHL, I'll follow-up on this.
Hopefully a fine weill be levied if a law has been broken.

Where the police are concerned, if you are not happy with the response you get from the local police, phone the Police HQ in Nicosia and complain, trust me they will act, and the local police will act, I have experience on this.
