Old Bedford bus

Post by Anarita John »

Rosemary is attending physio 3 times a week at a place between Alpha Mega and what we used to call Butcher Boy Road. For the half hour or so I go for a walk around the back streets. Amazing what you find. Took this photo on a street between Butcher Boy Road and the Evangelimos Hospital.
Paphos Al, gone, but not forgotten, would have loved it.

Yes RIP Paphos AL 22nd September 2018 -

There are quite a few of these Bedford Buses still around - There used to be at least four parked on a piece of land between the Huge Church and Begonia Garden Centre

Coming on holiday back in the 60s, we often travelled on these from town to town , bone shakers , you could just stick your hand out and they would stop for you, no need for bus stops back then.
