English Greetings cards

Post by trevnhil »

I usually get my Christmas cards and other greeting cards from a shop at the side of the main road into Chloraka
However, when I went this morning the blinds were down and the closed sign was on the door.
Does anyone know if it has closed for good? And where else can I get Christmas cards to send to the UK

Partymania have a large selection of Xmas cards. ( was in there this morning )

Also there is a shop close to entrance of Elpis Medical Centre.

Carmine in Peyia have a pretty decent selection.

The shop closed for good in May stating the increasing costs of importing goods from uk since the B word!

I find partymania expensive
Petzstuff in Chlorakas has a nice selection of animal charity cards including Malcolm’s cat sanctuary (where my girls are from) also Euromania had some, also saw some box cards in paps the other day
If you never ask the question, the answer will always be....no

Yes the one is Chloraka has gone.
There's another good one called Be Inspired, Agapinoros (just past the Kings Mall roundabout going towards Geroskipou, left after the bakery at the lights).

We also find Partymania expensive although their products are good. Euromania in Geriskipou have lots of cards at reasonable prices and a lot of the charity shops sell them too.

Thanks for all the suggestions.. I drove past Partymania and all the way down to the card shop close to the entrance of Elpis Medical Centre.
What a great card shop it is and very large with a really good choice of cards.
So I am all fixed up now, I just have to write them and take them to the Post Office

Papantoniou, MAS and possibly other supermarkets have a variety of basic greetings cards in English but if you are looking for a more personalised selection I always go to the shop Trev has just visited following recommendations of other forum members near Elpis Medical Centre.
Not just cards but gifts, calendars, wrapping paper to name a few other items.
