Paphos Sea Front to Geroskipou Beach After A Storm

Post by Dominic »

The weather in Cyprus can be very localised. It can be sunny in Paphos and thundering with rain in Peyia. In this film, we start at the castle, where they have had a little bit of rain. By the time we get to Geroskipou Beach you can tell that they have had a major downpour. What is even stranger is that my final destination was actually Kouklia, and before I got to Kouklia I went through another dry area before hitting rain again.

The good news is that when it rains, it doesn't tend to last long. And remember, the best time to see the outdoor murals at the Archaeological Park is after a good storm.

Yes, it is amazing how bad weather conditions vary from one location to the other just a few km's away. I was having the same day a nice lunch at Timi Beach and there were no signs of any rain in that area, not far from Yeroskipou Beach where your film is showing flooded areas...

Well, I thought it is boring for too many members on here if I repeat to show the same fish lunch photos on and on.... :x but perhaps I will take my camera with me next time.
