Unfortunately this year this little creature died soon after it was born, near it's birthplace in common bricks at my home office

Since years I have some lovely Geckos in the house which reduce the amount of mosquito a lot.
They are called Kotschy's Gekko and only 3-4 cm long.

We had one in our garden called Gary! He had a face only a mother could love, bless him.

The geckos at our house all suffer because of the cats. There is a big old one that has mastered the art of playing dead. I've lost count of the amount of times I have had to move his corpse out of the cats' reach. I normally plonk him in the shrub by the boiler. Lo and behold, half an hour later he will have scuttled off again.
