I'm a tad fussy about using mince meet. I choose a cut of either beef or pork and ask the butcher to put through the mincer twice. In addition I buy a chicken breast/thighs and again ask the butcher to put through the mincer so I can make chicken burgers. I always add some herbs/spices to meat.

With the puff pastry, it comes in two sheets ready to be filled, it doesn't need rolling out or anything, just a bit of egg wash when ready to bake. I also make croissants to save me going to Lidl and ending up spending much more than I went in for....every time!

I cook all the above in an air fryer.

That's the bit where you might need to roll your sleeves up Trev.

Trev give it a go. It really is simple if you follow the video,
you can't beat the smell of baking in the kitchen, once you bake your first sausage roll , i guarantee there will be no stopping you, fruit pies meat pies etc etc

No eggwash used on Greggs sausage rolls - yet they come out a good golden colour and taste delicious.
No need to add anything to them.

Thanks WHL, and Galexinda. Fruit pies and meat pies I think will need me to make pastry.. I am not in that league at the moment. Paps at Tremithousa are good for pies.
However having said that I do have an apple tree with many apples on it, but not eaters

Greggs use margarine in the pastry instead of fat - Hence the yellow colour in most of their products - They used to make mince pies in the same way but when cooked the pastry was saturated with oil and gave you serious heartburn - I don't think they use this method on the mince pies anymore as the last one i tried had white pastry and was ok.

WOW !!! and WOW again... I am only a few kilometres from the address on their site.

I will certainly be getting in touch with them, if only to find out where their goods are on sale.

I have really tried to contact the Cyprus Greggs today but with no success at all
The municipality offices in the village address have no knowledge of them
I have phoned them and the number does not exist.
There is a chat facility on their website but nothing happens there.
So sadly I have had to give up on trying to contact them :-(
