Peyia Forest to Kathikas

In this film we start at the Peyia Overlook, then drive to Kathikas. The film features an animated map at the start and we would appreciate feedback as to how useful it was.

I do like the animated map. I know this route so well, but still liked it.

I know this route well, but for another route I'd find it useful. We like to get on to that road, the E709, from the E701 just before the turnoff to the Sea Caves. We love this drive and wouldn't use any other route to get to Polis/Latchi. The road down to Latchi is terrific too. On our way back from a few days in Latchi we stopped at the Pikni Forest and parked near the tower on the main track. We then did a nice walk through the pines going east a bit before heading toward the viewpoint. What a spectacular view over Peyia and beyond! The Farmyard Restaurant in Kathikas is really good, and we chose it as our lunch destination between Pissouri and Latchi because it has many Chinese and Thai options. Not the best Chinese or Thai food I've had, but delicious and in a lovely space. Well worth a trip on a good and scenic road for lunch, with a walk in the Pikni Forest to the viewpoint after.
