Theletra lies between Kathikas and Stroumpi, in the heart of the Paphos District. Over 50 years ago, they abandoned the village, due to threat of landslide, and moved to the top of the hill. A couple of houses are still occupied, but most of them are now left to nature.

We,ve been a few times to Old Theletra. As coincidence has it we where there yesterday. We met a Cypriot who was visiting the church there to pray.He new the village very well and told us how many people still lived there. Surprisingly there are still six or seven properties still occupied,Among them an Egyptian family and an English lady......Love the place.
