Tourists arrested for disorderly behaviour while drunk

Post by memory man »

Two people aged 28 and 30 were arrested on Sunday just after 9pm at a beach bar in Paphos for causing a disturbance in a public place while under the influence of alcohol, and for resisting lawful arrest and assaulting a police officer during the execution of his duty.

After being informed about a public disturbance, police arrived at the bar in question to find three drunk individuals, tourists, being disorderly.

The three refused to cooperate and show their identification documents to police.

Of them, a 28-year-old and a 30-year-old further resisted and assaulted police members by shoving them around.

The other individual, 29, did not put up any resistance.

All three were taken to Paphos police station and the 28-year-old and the 30-year-old were arrested while the third was released.

The report should be splashed across all the UK newspapers to show that it would be better for UK tourists to behave normally when visiting other countries.

It doesn't say they were British tourists.

Very true! I'm sorry for jumping to conclusions which were manifestly false. What should I do for penance?

Your penance is to chant three times a day for a week, "Spurs will win the FA CUP." How cruel is that?
