Polis light breakfast ??

Post by trevnhil »

In a few weeks time, we have an appointment in Polis at 9 o'clock. This means leaving home probably around 8-20 am. Before this, I have a garden to water and a dog walk to do.
So, I thought we could perhaps sit outside in the shade and have a light breakfast with our dog by our feet near the table.
But, silly me thought I could get a Mcdonald's breakfast there, but that firm has not got to Polis yet ;-)

So are there any recommendations for a light breakfast, in Polis, outside in the shade, with a dog, around 9-20 am ?

Also try Central Point cafe in the square, Chris does a few breakfast options.

Be aware that the area is a favourite haunt of the new Polis traffic warden. Lots of people complaining about getting tickets when they abandoned their cars where they wanted to. Parking has been a free-for-all in the ten years we have lived in the area and was, I suppose, part of its charm.

Love going to Saddles when I visit Polis town centre - good choice of menu and Helen and her staff are great if you have any food allergies or just want something specific. Sausage and egg baps, bacon butties in a roll or bread, toast served with home made jams, scrambled eggs on toast just a few of the 'light breakfast items' and if a bit more peckish you can always have a full breakfast. Good reviews on Trip Advisor and Saddles has its own FB page.
Plenty of parking between Hellenic Bank/Citizens Service Centre and the crossroads with AIK electricity shop/pharmacy at the crossroads - you might even get some shade!
