UPVC or Aluminium replacement front door?

Can anyone offer advice on what to go for when replacing a front door (not wood) - UPVC or aluminium?

UPVC definately. It has sound and heat insulation properties that Aluminium don't have

There is a company that does UPVC windows/ doors, from old town turn right by TimeOut Kiosk , approximately 500 MTRS on your right ....

We had to have a new front door because we were locked out by our cat (don't ask) and needed to break in..On a Sunday morning, keys, phone's dog and cat locked inside, he came out next day after I destroyed the alloy front door to get in, I made a real mess and a lot of noise on that Sunday morning.

We chose a solid UPVC door not cheap at 1K fitted by Mr Morley, did a good job this time..
