TV recommendation

Post by memory man »

If you are a fan of Lee Child's Jack Reacher books ( not with Tom Cruise )
then there is an 8 part series of the first novel " The Killing Floor " on TV.

Jack Reacher in the tv series is 6ft 4ins.

Watched 2 episodes last night and thoroughly enjoyed them.

10/10 :)

Love the Jack Reacher novels. We're searching for this on IMDB. Can you let us know who's the lead actor? Thanks

Excellent series. Watched it over a couple of nights and it's good to hear they're making a second series.

Love the books, ( but not the latest 2, written I think by Lee Child's brother?) The series is excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Just watched another series, based on a true story, ''Inventing Anna'', must watch just to see how the Good and Great can be scammed like the rest of us.

I got a week of Amazon Prime for 50p with an order I placed last Saturday so we watched the whole of the first series of Reacher from Monday, finishing the final episode on Thursday.

I cancelled the Prime subscription yesterday and was surprised to see two options on this occasion...

To end the subscription on the end date of the 7 day period as planned without the next monthly payment of £7.99 being taken automatically.

Or, to cancel the Prime immediately with a refund of 50p.

I've never seen that option previously.

We enjoyed the series, the actor is fairly true to form and a huge improvement on Tom Cruise in the movie versions.
However, he's a bit too "pretty boy" looking in my mind for the vision I've always had of Reacher.

We will wait for the second series to arrive.

We're watching this now and enjoying it. My vision of Reacher was more rugged and slightly older but nonetheless the actor does him credit.

Mayor of Kingstown, after 3 episodes very gritty, stars Jeremy Renner and Hugh Dillon written by the same man as Yellowstone and 1883, Taylor Sheridan (with Hugh Dillon).
