Diarizos Valley runs to the east of Paphos, above Kouklia. It is a lovely place to explore, and harbours lots of interesting secrets to discover. In this film, we start in the abandoned village of Trozena. We drive across the famous Bailey Bridge through the next village of Gerovasa, which is also abandoned. We cross the valley floor, before ascending the other side. We eventually finish at Panagia Salamiotissa Monastery. This is a lovely place to visit, though if you are in a regular car you might want to go via the village of Salamiou rather than the off-road route we took. Having said that, our route wasn't too bumpy, though that would change after prolonged rainfall.
