A 26-year-old man was killed early Saturday near Limassol in a head-on traffic crash with another car whose driver is in critical condition.The incident happened at around 1.30am.The man, a father of one, was on his way to Limassol from Nicosia when he crashed into another car coming from the opposite direction on the motorway after apparently entering the wrong way....

Tragic, I faced this a few years ago coming back from Larnaca airport, coming around a bend, I was faced with a double cab going the wrong way, I managed to get out of the way but a lady driving a few cars behind me hit him, it was an old boy who had travelled a few miles down the wrong way with out even realising it.

It happens all the time, in every country with motor traffic. Roughly, on motorways, 0.1-0.2 cases/month (not all with collisions) per million population.
