Limassol was hit by an earthquake of 3.3 magnitude on Wednesday morning, according to the department of geological survey of the agriculture ministry.
In an announcement, the department said the epicentre of the earthquake was the area of Gerasa, 15km northwest of Limassol, at a depth of about 15km.
The earthquake was felt across the district, as well as in Paphos and Nicosia, the department said.
The phenomenon is monitored by the seismic network of the department and relevant information will be published on the official website and social media.

On the Richter scale 3.3 is a minor as far as earthquakes are concerned. No, I didn't feel anything in Paphos either.
