Charity shop in Chlorakas

I've just driven past St Michaels charity shop on Chlorakas hill and it's empty.

Have they closed?

I think you are referring to the Friends Hospice Shop which has moved about 200 meters further up the hill on the right side and opposite to Sam's Bar.
The larger premises now have a designated furniture section as well as a wide choice of bargains and there is parking in front of the shop.
