It's not the owning of the implement, it's how it's being used and in what circumstances that makes it an offensive weapon.
Everyday items like door keys, drinking glasses and pens or pencils could be classed as offensive weapons depending on the circumstances.

Yes, I know what you mean about men flogging wiper blades. I had one who even tried to remove my existing blades. My furious look as I told him not to touch my car and to go away, shouting Ochi, Ochi, Ochi. Seemed to work as he scuttled off! Passers by were also looking at him too....
I didn't have an axe with me, only my walking pole with its pointed end...

Go on Lidls face book page, at the bottom there is a contact us button, post what happened to you, they will then ring you up, where you can complainn to them, I did this a few weeks back, and can say , it had an effect, there haven't been any scammers/ beggars there sinceKili01 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 03, 2021 9:28 pm Yes, I know what you mean about men flogging wiper blades. I once attended an incident aboard a double decker bus where the women folk of two rival families had had "words" with each other during the journey home.
One of them ended up being arrested for assaulting the other with a French Loaf.
