COVID vaccinations

Post by graham43 »

We’ve been trying to get over in order to sort out some pressing issues with our property in Cyprus but our flights from Manchester keep being cancelled by easyJet. We’re both fully vaccinated and are next scheduled to fly out on 17 July.
I would be really grateful to hear of anyone’s experience of arriving recently at Paphos airport from the UK regarding what the authorities will now accept as evidence that visitors have been full vaccinated. Our vaccination status is recorded on the NHS app but will we still need to have a negative PCR test result from a test taken within the 72 hours prior to our arrival?
Clearly we will need to have a negative PCR test result from a test carried out within 72 hours of our return flight back to the UK. Again I would really appreciate any recommendations for companies/laboratories in Paphos that will carry out PCR tests and get results back to clients within the prescribed time of 72 hours before a flight back to the UK.

Many thanks- Graham

You can have either a PCR test or Lateral flow test as long as it has a certificate from an accredited testing company, this is clearly stated on the government website. We have contacted Wecare who have been very helpful and will provide a lateral flow test and certificate for 10 euros;
