NHS APP - COVID STATUS
NHS APP - COVID STATUS
Very impressed. After both covid jabs, my NHS app now shows my vaccination status with a green tick and a QR code for customs to scan. There is also an option to download a PDF certificate to load onto the Cyprus FlyPass and print off.
Re: NHS APP - COVID STATUS
Be careful. The certificate has an expiration date and has to be renewed. Mines 20 June 2021. No idea why.
Re: NHS APP - COVID STATUS
That the validity date of the QR code only - a security measure. After it expires you just refresh it.
Re: NHS APP - COVID STATUS
very curious. I understand the need for security but people who have had their vaccinations on different dates all seem to have the same date of expiry.
Hopefully on 21st June we will all see when our date expires or maybe we will all blow up.

Re: NHS APP - COVID STATUS
Currently being in Wales, the NHS app here does not carry any vaccination history and I suspect that Drakeford will not alter that until at least September.........
Ticking away, the moments that make up a dull day.

This is email from NHS Digital……..
Thank you for your email.
The expiration date is for the QR code, to ensure it expires for security reasons, and to enable destination countries to validate the digital signature they contain.
You should download fresh QR codes before you travel to ensure they remain up to date.
