I hope they have a good crystal ball because the slaughtering should be carried out several days before sale/consumption. They may find that butchers are left with quite a quantity of perfectly good meat and the price should go down after Easter. We have been on a fillet of pork jag lately; the price has not increased and the quality is absolutely superb from our local butcher.
