Mouth Shield
Mouth Shield
I am looking to buy some mouth shields..These are the type for general use to help with teeth grinding. Amazon sell a wide range , but I was hoping to buy them here to avoid the hassle..I don’t hold out much hope but thought it was worth asking.

Morning Dave...
Most good dentist will mould you a mouth or gum shield not expensive either...

Re: Mouth Shield
I had one moulded by my dentist in the UK few years back cost £70, hubby boxed many moons ago got his from a good sports shop, you put it in hot water then mould to your teeth and trim off the excess.

Re: Mouth Shield
I bought mouldable shields from a sports retailer some years ago to protect a tooth knocked loose due a game of basketball.
They were cheap and easy to use.
Simply boil a kettle and pour the boiling water over the shield in a mug in or similar.
This softens the material enough to allow you to pop it in your mouth (having cooled Sufficiently, but not too much) and mould it as required. Repeat the process if required until a comfortable fit is achieved. Then allow it to cool and harden.
I'd think this type would be available from Sports Direct if it's still open.
