Help needed

My friend who lives in London needs some help. Her dad lives in Paphos and is quite ill.If she opts to have the covid test done on arrival in Paphos,will she have to self isolate in a hotel or can she stay with her parents whilst awaiting result ? Thanks in advance for any help.

I think she will need to take the test before she leaves the UK, unless she is a resident of Cyprus.

The UK are category B still, which is something.
