I assume the person not wearing a mask in a vehicle was perhaps on a Bus, or in a Taxi ??

Just spoke to a friend of mine, his daughter got a 300e ticket a while back, she was too scared to tell her dad, so she never said anything, long story short, he found out the other day, and when he went to pay for her, it had risen to 450e, :shock: happy days not

I am not sure of the Attitude of people in the UK to rules, but I think people here are frightened of getting caught.. So there are two reasons to wear the mask. Stop infection and stop being fined

On the subject of masks in cars, has anybody seen the link that states they must be worn if multiple families in one car? Whilst that’s what we do if the need arises, I can’t find it referenced in any of the guidelines issued by PIO - other than for construction workers.

Sorry if I’ve missed something somewhere.

Hubby told me that he thought the health mininter said last night that you must wear a mask in a car if you are travelling with people not from the same household. So even if they are family members, if they don’t live with you, you would all have to a mask. But I am also trying to find it officially but can’t.

Thanks Jeanne,
It’s not in the published text of the speech by the Health Minister last night;
https://www.pio.gov.cy/coronavirus/uplo ... Health.pdf

Nor is it in the guidelines issued about masks on 14/10:

https://www.pio.gov.cy/coronavirus/uplo ... 2020_3.pdf

It’s something I’m quite happy to comply with, but it’s bugging me that, unlike all the other measures, I can’t find it documented.

The quest continues!
