Rapid testing underway at Paphos airport, Larnaca later this week

The streamlined testing system at airports is up and running in Paphos "with results obtained within 90 minutes" with Larnaca expected to be ready by Thursday....

Thats good! If Cyprus has this new type of rapid test, I wonder why the UK hasn't got it?

If a couple of planes with 150 pax each arrive. 300 tests in 90 mins???

If you read the article it’s not a new test. They are putting laboratory conditions in place at the airport. It sounds great but in practice when more planes arrive I can’t see how it will work. Imagine planes arriving from UK in the early hours, fractious children on board & then waiting several more hours for a test. Paphos airport isn’t big enough either.

It is big enough. They have now done some modernisation to the OLD section, which has created a huge area for passengers etc.
All things are possible
