Post by ApusApus »

Here are some more photos of the Old Market area. A couple of photos with a 180 deg view, first looking left then swinging round to look right ............ what a difference!

Then one of the inside of the Market & one showing the road down to the side entrance where the traffic lights used to be!

And finally, one showing the area where the Fruit Market used to be .............. plenty of work still left to do around this part of town but when finished it should look fantastic! :)

On another plus note, I stumbled across the opening ceremony for the Mouttalos Project but I'll cover this on a separate post.

I agree for what it's worth, major surgery was well overdue & unfortunately it doesn't come without a cost! The benefits however, are already being seen & can only be a good thing for the future of Paphos IMHO! :D

We drove from the courts area this morning towards the old town. We wanted to turn right to go past Paps and up Polis road. No Chance...
We had to carry straight on and then do two right turns and then a left at the garage.. It was like a dust track.. I wonder how long this will go on for..
