Printer cartridges - recycle for charity!

Post by Spock » Sun May 12, 2019 10:26 pm

I wonder if I might mention the collection of used printer cartridges again. I am collecting these for my Rotary group's charity in the UK, where the money they make is put to very good use. We can take any type, and in the Paphos and Polis area they can be left at either of Holitec's offices, or at any of the Friends Hospice charity shops. There is a collecting bin at all these locations.

Many thanks to those that have been contributed already. They are very gratefully received.

What a great idea. Good to know that these things can be used and not just thrown away.

I recall when buying on-line they used to come with a pre-paid plastic envelope to send to somewhere, but where I really can't remember!

In the UK I used to send mine to Tesco to exchange for extra Clubcard points. Often local Scouts and similar groups will also collect them. I think these days they want the circuit boards out of them as they contain a lot of valuable metals.
