Dragonfly looks very scared - no wonder (pics)

Post by cyprusmax47 »

Thanks to my new "Monster" outdoor air-con many more creatures stopped hiding and appeared again close to my patio. But is also more comfortable for me to sit outdoors again having breakfast and my camera at hand. Butterflies, Bees, Dragonflies all around and of course, that's nature, their enemies waiting for a easy catch. I can't help but in my opinion this Dragonfly looks scared to me :)

No wonder - this large Agama would scare me too  (tiles are 50x50 cm)

zoomed one can see my face better..

Also wasps are in great danger

This poor humble-bee got trapped but rescued from me before it was too late..

Even a small chameleon tried to come out of her hiding place.. ever so clever the colour.

That chameleon is impressive. Well, they all are, but as you say, the camouflage is stunning.

The chameleon camouflage is amazing. I love the dragon fly, they are so colourful and intricate.

Poor bumble bee, good job you were around to save him! I haven't seen many here, I used to have loads of them around my hydrangea back in the UK. They never worried me but wasps are another thing, like mozzies, they love me. I once had one would not leave me alone in the garden and I kept running away until I ran inside smack into the patio door which was closed. Ended up with a broken nose! But at least it didn't sting me :D
