Re: Date of Paphos Carnival 2025 Announced!
We will be in sunny Malta (we can live in hope) where the Carnival there starts on 28 February and ends on 2 March (as I understand it).
Two big parades will take place in Valletta and Gozo but we will most likely miss them both as we're staying in Sliema (directly opposite Valletta) and will be staying in another accommodation for a couple of days when both of the these take place.
Hoping the traffic won't be a problem for the bus to take us up to Mellieha - otherwise, it will have to be a Bolt taxi by the sounds of it.
Have fun, boys and girls.
We will be on the wine and the pinzas as we seek out the Italian influences within the island. It's more than 8 years since we last visited and we've opted to stay in 2 different areas, which is steadily becoming our new 'norm' when we take on our travel trips from UK - no matter if they're only of 7 days in length.
This trip is a little 'filler' because I got so sick of the crappy grey days since we returned from mainland Spain in early December, I booked another holiday before we head to Lanzarote for a longer stay in April. Not yet worked out where that extra couple of days may be spent - it may be on one of the other islands...
