Sounds very interesting. Perhaps what we need! BUT, do these not work better in areas with low humidity ( i.e. Nicosia)? How effective would they be in Paphos? I have no idea so just asking...
Of course these systems work best with medium/low humidity. As our climate is different every few miles depending where you live in Paphos district and depending from which direction the Wind comes. In my place, (near Tsada Golf) if the wind comes from inland the humidity goes down to 20% which is very uncomfortably for me. On the other hand if Wind is from South/West humidity can reach as much as 90% sometimes. In this case I would suggest to set the unit to "fan only" and the fan speed to medium. The same with humidity or not happened to me when I lived in Polis area, 1 mile from the beach, when the wind came from inland in July it was very very dry air and I had to water my flowerpots twice a day...>50.
Anyhow, I always measure humidity and temperature, rainfall etc... then I can talk, not only guess or listen what other people say about the weather conditions. (have 4 test stations in my place and in the past I also measured the wind force. (as I had windmills installed) Lidl sold this year very nice test stations for humidity indoor, outdoors, beside temperature in/out...I bought several as presents for friends.!
