Yes, direct translation from Greek text to English leads to cumbersome sentences, particularly in newspapers intended for us non Greek speakers. Still we are fortunate that there is a newspaper in English here. There could be a job here for the right person who can turn these important translations of news into more understandable text!
As for tall buildings in Paphos, do we really need them? I think the present lone one is slightly less obtrusive since it was painted white... but Paphos as a holiday town should stay as mainly low rise buildings.
