Yes, direct translation from Greek text to English leads to cumbersome sentences, particularly in newspapers intended for us non Greek speakers. As for tall buildings in Paphos, do we really need them? I think the present lone one is slightly less obtrusive since it was painted white... but Paphos as a holiday town should stay as mainly low rise buildings.
